Jessica M. Myers was born on April 3, 1996 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Ken and Vicky Myers. Currently, Jessica is in ninth grade at Smithfield Middle School, where her favorite subject is math. During her spare time, she likes to do anything with art and crafts.

When Jessica was younger, she and her parents lived in Japan for four years on the main island in a town called Misawa. Her mother taught recreational classes there, so Jessica was involved in some of the classes. In August of 2005, Jessica began her competitive gymnastics career at Omega Gymnastics. As a level 4, Jessica finished first in the all-around at Gymnastics Unlimited Beach Blast as well as third in the all-around at the Brick City Invitational and Ghost and Goblin Invitational. She then placed fourth in the all-around and third on balance beam at the Level 4 State Championships.

In 2006, Jessica moved to Langley Gymnastics Angier NC to train under coach Jack Panyakone. As a level 5, she swept golds, including the all-around at the Perfect 10 Invitational. She then placed first in the all-around and second on vault at the Level 5 State Championships. In 2007 as a level 6, she swept all-around titles at the Shining Star Invitational, Battle at the Capital, Everest Challenge and Hang 10 Invitational. Jessica concluded her level 6 season by finishing fifth in the all-around at the level 6 State Championship.

Jessica moved up to level 7 in 2008. She finished first in the all-around at the Hang 10 Invitational and Winter Fun Invitational. She then finished ninth in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the Level 7 State Championships. After Jessica's 2008 season, she began training at the World Class Gymnastics in Virginia.

As a level 8 in 2009, Jessica won the all-around title at the Gymnastics in Paradise in Hawaii, Parkettes Invitational and the Derby Classic. At the Metroplex Challenge in Dallas, Texas, Jessica won a silver medal in the all-around and first on vault. She then placed fifth in the all-around at both Excalibur Cup and Palm Beach Invitational. At the Level 8 State Championships, Jessica won the all-around as well as first on balance beam and floor exercise. There, she qualified to the Level 8 Regional Championships, where she finished first in the all-around and first on balance beam as well as second on vault and floor exercise.

Jessica's 2009-2010 season as a level 9 started at the Richmond Fall Classic where she placed third in the all-around as well as first on vault, balance beam and floor exercise. Jessica won the all-around title at three next competitions, Commonwealth Cup, Christmas on the Chesepeake and World Classic Invitational. At the Cancun Classic in Mexico, Jessica finished second overall and first on vault. Jessica then traveled to Florida for the Sand Dollar Invitational where she won the all-around title. She also won gold medals on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Next, Jessica competed at the Metroplex Challenge in Dallas, Texas and placed second in the all-around and second on vault, uneven bars and balance beam. Jessica won two additional all-around titles at the Excalibur Cup and Derby Classic. At the Level 9 State Championships, Jessica won three gold medals on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around. Jessica then traveled to Chesepeake, Virginia for the Level 9 Regional Championships where she placed second overall. Along with her silver medal in the all-around, Jessica also won two silver medals on vault and uneven bars and a gold medal on floor exercise. There, she qualified to the Level 9 Eastern National Championships in Charleston, West Virginia. Jessica concluded her level 9 season at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals where she finished second in the all-around, third on vault, first on uneven bars and second on floor exercise.

Currently, Jessica is training at World Class Gymnastics in Virginia under coaches Tami Harrison and Jon Angle. Jessica is looking forward for the 2010-2011 season, where she hopes to have a successful season as a level 10 gymnast.
