Kami started gymnastics when she was three years old. She started her competitive career at Majestic Dolphins under coach Vicky Galeano. When Kami was at Majestic Dolphins, she was the 2004 Level 4 State Champion and 2005 Level 6 State Champion. After Kami's 2006 season, she moved to SCEGA, where she is at now. In 2007, she finished third in the all-around and first on vault at the Level 7 State Championships. Kami made to hopes pre-elite in 2008, where she finished 9th overall at the US Challenge. In 2009, Kami qualified to the Level 9 Western Championships and US Challenge as a junior pre-elite. Currently, Kami is competing in her 2010 season, where she hopes to re-qualify to the US Challenge again.
