Kami has been training at SCEGA Gymnastics since 2006. SCEGA is located in Temecula, California. It is a National Team Training Center that has produced some of the nation's best gymnasts, including Rachel Tidd, Brittani McCullough, Elise Wheeler and Amanda Stroud.
Both Kathy Strate and Kathy Bader are the co-owners of SCEGA. Kami's current coaches are Kathy Strate, Meredith Paulicivic and Luis Garcia. Meredith is the head choreographer of SCEGA. She is a former SCEGA gymnast and competed for the University of Utah. Luis was orginally from Puerto Rico and moved to the United States in 1984. He has had coached many gymnasts who were part of the US National Team.
