September 17, 2011 // Award and 5k Race

Megan decided last night she was going to enter a road race this morning held at our Plano Balloon Festival. It was a 5k (3-mile) road race. She took first place in her division 16-19 yrs old men and women included! She finished 17th overall out of 479 runners. Her finish time was 24:27. Congratulations Meg! September 12, 2011 // Megan to University of North Carolina

Megan has verbally committed to the University of North Carolina over the weekend. She will join the gymnastics team during the 2013-2014 school year. Congratulations Meg! We added a few new personal photos from this weekend.

May 15, 2011 // JO National AA Silver Medalist

Megan was in Long Beach, California this weekend for the Junior Olympic Nationals. She had a great meet last night where she placed second in the all-around with a 38.050 out of 57 gymnasts! She placed sixth on uneven bars with a 9.425, fourth on balance beam scoring a 9.475 and fifth on floor exercise with a 9.600. She made the Junior Olympic National Team. Congratulations Meg! April 15, 2011 // Level 10 Regional AA Champion

Today at the Region III Championships, Megan won the all-around title with a 38.625! She won gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.650 and 9.825 respectively as well as a bronze medal on floor exercise with a 9.550. She qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals, to be held May 14-15 in Long Beach, California. Congratulations Megan!

March 27, 2011 // Megan Places Third AA at the States

Today at the Level 10 Texas State Championships, Megan placed third in the all-around with a 38.375. She won a silver medal on uneven bars scoring a 9.625 as well as bronze medals on balance beam and floor exercise with a 9.550 and 9.700 respectively. Good job Meg! Many new pictures have been posted from the 2011 WOGA Classic.

March 7, 2011 // HNI AA Champion

Megan had a fantastic meet this past weekend at the Houston National Invitational, where she won the all-around title with a 38.425! She won gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.725 and 9.775 respectively. She also placed third on floor exercise scoring a 9.525 and ninth on vault with a 9.400. Well done Meg!

February 20, 2011 // WOGA Classic Bars Champion

Megan competed today at the WOGA Classic. She won the uneven bars title with a 9.725. She also finished 10th on vault with a 9.375 and 13th on balance beam. Good job Meg!

Welcome to the Official Website of Megan Marenghi! She is a level 10 gymnast from WOGA in Plano, Texas. She is training under coaches Laurent Landi and Cecile Canqueteau-Landi. Megan is three-time JO National Qualifier, 2010 Level 10 Regional Beam Champion and 2010 JO National Team Member. Currently, Megan is training for the 2011 season where she hopes to qualify to international elite.
