Annika Anderson was born on May 1, 1995. She trains at TOPS Gymnastics in Ohio. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2006, Annika competed level seven. She finished second all-around at the TOPS Super Challenge. She continued competing level seven in 2007. Annika finished third all-around at the TOPS Super Challenge. At the Buckeye Classic, she won bars and beam. Annika moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished fourth on bars at the TOPS Super Challenge. In 2009, Annika moved up to level nine. She placed second all-around at the TOPS Super Challenge. She finished third all-around at the Luau In Leos Invitational. Annika competed on three events at Regionals.

Annika continued competing level nine in 2010. She won bars at the Flip Fest Invitational. At the TOPS Super Challenge, she placed third all-around. Annika finished third on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished second all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the Arnold Gymnastics Challenge, she won bars and the all-around. Annika finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third on vault and fifth all-around. Annika finished 14th all-around at Easterns, highlighted by a sixth place finish on vault.
