Alexis Beucler was born on December 11, 1997. Her older sister, Marissa, is also a gymnast. Alexis trained at Findlay Elite through the 2008 season. She then moved to Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.

In 2007, Alexis competed level seven. She competed at the State Championships. She continued competing level seven in 2008. In 2009, Alexis moved up to level nine. She placed fourth on vault at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the Buckeye Classic, she finished tenth all-around. Alexis competed at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2010. She placed second on beam at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She placed third on beam at the Metroplex Challenge. At the Buckeye Classic, she placed first on beam and second all-around. Alexis finished third on beam at the Queen City Classic. At the State Championships, she placed third on floor. Alexis also finished third on floor at Regionals.

Alexis began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on floor at the Buckeye Classic. At the Derby Classic, she won floor. She placed second on beam and floor at the Girl Power Invitational. Alexis finished third on beam and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed fourth on beam.
