Alexis Brown was born on March 12, 1996. She will graduate high school in 2014. She trained at Gymnastics East in Washington. She moved to Team OC Gymnastics in California during the summer of 2010.
In 2004, Alexis competed level four. She had a great meet at the State Championships, winning a gold medal. She continued competing level four in the spring season of 2005. She won the all-around at the Cancun Classic. Alexis also won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Pajama Classic. She moved up to level five in the fall. Alexis won everything except for beam at the Candy Corn Classic. She swept the events at the Carousel Classic. Alexis won vault, bars and the all-around at States.
Alexis began competing level six in 2006. She won beam at the Blooms and Blossoms meet. She moved up to level seven in 2007. She won floor and placed second all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she finished second all-around and first on vault. She ended her season by placing second all-around at States. In 2008, Alexis competed level eight. She won beam and the all-around at the Seattle Open. At States, she placed second all-around. Alexis ended her season by winning vault, beam and the all-around at Regionals.
She moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished third all-around at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet and Great West Gymfest. Alexis only competed on two events at States. At Regionals, she won bars, beam and the all-around. She ended her season by finishing second all-around at Westerns. She finished third on bars and beam. Her first season as a level ten was in 2010. She finished third on floor at the Seattle Open. She won floor and placed second all-around at the Return of the Titans meet. She missed States but returned for Regionals where she won beam, floor and the all-around. Her final meet of the season was JO Nationals. She had a strong 12th place finish. Alexis placed eighth on beam.
