Lauren Adkins was born on September 24, 1994. She trained at Emerald City Gymnastics until the conclusion of the 2007 season. She then began training at Gymnastics East.
In 2003, Lauren competed level four. She finished second on bars at the Rainier Cup. At the Level 4 Sectional Championships, she placed third on floor. She qualified for the State Championships. She moved up to level five for the fall season. She finished fourth on vault at the Goblin Cup. She competed level six in the fall of 2005. She qualified for the State Championships. In 2006, Lauren competed level seven. She won vault at the Emerald Team Challenge. Lauren moved up to level eight in 2007. She finished fourth on vault at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. At the State Championships, she finished fifth on floor.
Lauren continued competing level eight in 2008. She finished second on vault at the Seattle Open. She placed fifth all-around. At the State Championships, she finished in the top ten on vault. She ended her season at Regionals where she finished fourth on vault and sixth all-around. Lauren began competing level nine in 2009. She won vault and floor at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. She finished second on beam. At the Great West Gym Fest, she won vault. Lauren qualified to Regionals at States. At Regionals, she won vault and floor. She finished second all-around. She ended her season at Level 9 Westerns where she placed fourteenth all-around. She finished fourth on beam.
She finished first on floor at the 2010 Sand Dollar Invitational as a level nine. She placed second on beam at the Battle in Seattle. Lauren placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She finished second on vault and floor at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
