Ashley Fischer was born on July 31, 1996. She trained at GymQuarters Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to Team Central in Missouri. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2005, Ashley competed level six. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She finished third on beam at the GymQuarters Invitational. She won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She placed second on floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. In 2008, Ashley won beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed third on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second all-around.

Ashley competed level nine in 2009. She finished third on vault and floor at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2010, Ashley won floor at the Crossroads Classic. She finished third on bars at the Sand Dollar Invitational. Ashley began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on vault and second all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. She placed first on beam at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the St. Louis Classic. She finished first on vault, bars, and flor at the State Championships. In 2012, Ashley won beam and placed second all-around at the Gateway Challenge. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished eighth all-around.
