Allison Hansen was born on April 4, 1995. She trained at Gym-Kinetics through the 2008 season. She then moved to United Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2003, Allison competed level five. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2004. She finished third on vault at the San Diego Classic. Allison competed level eight in 2005. She finished fourth on balance beam at Regionals. In 2006, Allison began competing level nine. She placed third all-around at the Go For It Classic. At Regionals, she finished fourth on vault and 13th all-around. In 2007, Allison won floor and the all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She placed seventh on bars at Easterns.
Allison competed a final year of level nine in 2008. She finished third on vault and bars at the For Love or Money meet. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Flip'r. At Easterns, she placed ninth on vault. She began competing level ten in 2009. She won floor and the all-around at the GymQuarter's Invitational. At Regionals, Allison won bars and the all-around. She finished 17th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2010, Allison won bars at the St. Valentines Classic and GymQuarter's Invitational. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around and third on bars. Allison placed seventh on beam at JO Nationals.
Allison continued competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on bars at the Bravo Classic. She placed third all-around at the UGA Classic. Allison won vault, floor and the all-around at the GymQuarters Invitational. She placed fourth all-around at the Tim Rand Invitational. Allison won vault at the Arena Classic. Allison placed third all-around at the State Championships, breaking a 38.0 all-around score for teh first time. She finished twelfth all-around at Regonals.
