Alexandria Alcantara was born on May 26, 1996. She trains at GymStars Gymnastics in Stockton, California. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2003, Alexandria made the National TOPs Diamond Team. She competed level four in 2004. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She moved up to level five for the fall season. She finished first on vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Zone Championships. She competed at the State Championships. Alexandria also made the National TOPs Diamond Team that fall. In 2005, she finished third all-around at the Golden State Classic. She won floor at the State Championships. She competed level six in the spring of 2006.
Alexandria competed level seven in 2007. She finished third on vault at the International Cup and Golden State Classic. At the MEGA Invite, she finished second all-around. She also placed second all-around at the Novato Classic. Alexandria finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Clovis Classic. She won vault and the all-around at the Mardi Gras Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished sixth all-around. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals.
She continued competing level eight in 2009. She finished second on bars at the Delta Classic. At the Golden Gate Invitational, she finished second all-around. She finished fourth all-around at the Wine Country Classic. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the AOGC Invitational. She finished sixth all-around and second on bars at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2010. She finished fifth all-around at the Roseville Invitational and sixth all-around at the Delta Classic. Alexandria placed third on vault at the Wine Country Classic. She did not compete in the championship season.
