Sara Allan was born on March 26, 1993. She began gymnastics at the age of eighteen months. She began competing when she was six. She is currently training level ten at Chelsea Piers Gymnastics in New York. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

Sara began competing level nine in 2008. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She qualified to Easterns after finishing fifth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season with a solid performance at Easterns.

In 2009, Sara continued competing level nine. She won a silver medal on bars at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. At the Long Island Classic, she placed second on bars and beam. She also finished second on bars at the State Championships. Sara finished fifth all-around and third on uneven bars at Regionals. At Easterns, she finished fourth on floor and eleventh all-around. Sara did not compete in 2010.
