Alana Morgan was born on September 2, 1994. She trained at Twisters through the 2008 season. She then moved to Action Gymnastics Academy in New Jersey. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2006, Alana competed level five. She finished first on vault and second all-around at the State Championships. Alana competed level eight during the 2007-2008 season. She moved up to level nine for the 2009 season. She finished second on vault and floor at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she finished in the top ten. Alana placed in the top fifteen at Regionals. Alana continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished second on floor at the Maryland Classic. She won vault at both the Parkette Invitational and Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She placed first on vault and the all-around at the Twilight Knight Invite. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and the all-around. She finished third all-around at Regionals. Alana placed fourth on floor at Easterns.
Alana began competing level ten in 2011. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the Maryland Classic. She finished first on floor at the State Championships. Alana competed at Regionals. In addition to USAG, Alana has also had top finishes as a high school gymnast. She was named South Jersey Gymnast of the Year as a sophomore. In 2011, she earned a spot on the first-team All Shore Gymnastics Team. At the platinum level in USAIGC competition, Alana won vault and beam at the 2010 USAIGC National Championships.
