Kristin Aloi was born on September 22, 1991. She trained at Salem Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then moved to High Point Gymnastics. She graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2000, Kristin competed level four. She finished fifth all-around at the Turkey Tumble. She won vault at the State Championships. She placed third all-around. She moved up to level five in 2001. She won vault at the Judges Cup. Kristin won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Turkey Tumble. At the State Championships, she finished second on vault and the all-around. She competed level six in 2002. She won vault and floor at the Judges Cup. She won the all-around at both the Beach Blast and Turkey Tumble. She competed level seven in 2003. She finished first on beam and floor at the Salem Invitational. She won vault at the State Championships.

Kristin competed level eight in 2005. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Carolina Classic. She won floor at the Salem Invitational. She moved up to level nine in 2006. She finished third all-around at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won beam at the Twin City Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam. She did not compete on vault at Regionals. She moved up to level ten in 2007. Kristin finished third on beam and floor at the Carolina Classic. She placed third on beam at the State Championships. In 2008, she won the all-around title at the State Championships!

She continued competing level ten in 2009. Kristin finished second all-around at the East Coast Classic. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Charleston Cup. She won beam and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, Kristin placed third all-around. She finished fourth on beam and 17th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2010, Kristin finished second all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Tiger Paw Invitational. Kristin won bars and floor at the Spring Break-Out meet. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars. She finished third on floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Kristin placed fifth on bars and 19th all-around.
