Jenna Altenhofen was born on February 12, 1996. She trained at American Elite Gymnastics through the 2008 season. She then moved to Sunburst, which was renamed Precision Elite after the 2009 season. Jenna will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2004, Jenna competed level four. She finished fourth all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. She moved up to level five in 2005. She won floor and the all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. She skipped level six and competed level seven in 2006. She continued competing level seven in 2007. Jenna moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed fifth on vault at Regionals. Jenna competed level nine in 2009. She finished in the top ten at the Great West Gym Fest and Emerald Team Challenge. She finished seventh all-around at the State Championships.
Jenna began competing level ten in 2010. She finished fifth all-around at the World Cup Invitational. She placed in the top ten all-around at the All American Invitational, San Diego Classic and Emerald Team Challenge. At Regionals, she placed third on beam. Jenna competed at JO Nationals. In 2011, Jenna placed third on floor at the Battle in Seattle meet. She won bars at the Great West Gym Fest. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. Jenna finished first on floor at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
