Alexis Moore was born on March 2, 1993. She trained at Bay Valley Gymnastics until the spring of 2009. She then moved to Gedderts' Twistars. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2005, Alexis competed level eight. She qualified for Regionals. In 2007, Alexis competed level nine. She finished third on bars and beam at the Motown Madness meet. In 2008, she finished fourth all-around at the Motown Madness meet. In 2009, Alexis won bars at the Battle of the Champions. She finished third on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. Alexis placed second on vault at the US Airborne Invitational. At the Arena Classic, she finished third all-around. She won bars and floor. At the State Championships, Alexis placed second all-around. She won floor. She won bars, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Alexis won bars and floor. She finished eighth all-around.
Alexis continued competing level nine in 2009. She won bars and floor at Regionals. She placed second all-around at Regionals. Alexis won bars and floor. She ended her season at Easterns, only competing on bars.
