Arlyn Amor was born on July 2, 1994. She trained at Gymnastics Training Center of Rochester until the spring of 2005. She then moved to Gedderts' Twistars. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2005, Arlyn competed level five in the spring season. She won vault at the State Championships. Arlyn competed level six in the fall. She won vault and floor at the Early State Championships. She continued competing level six in 2006. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she won beam and the all-around. Arlyn moved up to level seven in 2007. She finished third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She won vault at the Motown Madness. At the State Championships, she swept the gold medals.

Arlyn moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Motown Madness meet. She qualified for Regionals. She continued competing level eight in 2009. Arlyn finished in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars and placed second all-around. She had a strong season as a level nine in 2010. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. At the Battle of the Champions, she won vault and the all-around. Arlyn won vault, floor and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. At the For Love or Money meet, she finished first on vault, floor and the all-around. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. She won beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, Arlyn won vault, floor and the all-around, completing her undefeated season in the all-around. Her all-around total at Easterns was the second highest of all competitors, beaten only by Twistars teammate Rachel Haines.

Arlyn began competing level ten in 2011. She finished second all-around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished third on bars at both the IGI Chicago Style and WOGA Classic. At the Arena Classic, Arlyn won bars, floor and the all-around. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships.
