Michelle Amoresano was born on December 10, 1996. She trained at Rettig's Gymnastics through the 2009 season. She then moved to North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, New Jersey. Michelle will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2007, Michelle competed level five. She finished second on bars at the Parkette Invitational. She quickly advanced to level eight in 2008. She finished fifth all-around at the Gasparilla Classic. Michelle began competing level nine in 2009. She finished third all-around at the Jazz Invitational. She placed in the top twenty at both the State and Regional Championships.

Michelle continued competing level nine in 2010. She finished second all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won vault at the Parkette Invitational. Michelle won vault and finished second all-around at the Excalibur Cup. She placed third on bars and fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on vault and sixth all-around. Michelle finished sixth on vault and 14th all-around at Easterns.
