Jamie Armijo was born on April 15, 1993. She trains at Desert Lights Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2002, Jamie competed level five. She moved up to level seven in 2003. She competed at the Winter Sun Invitational and Shamrock Invite. At the State Championships, she won bars, floor and the all-around. Jamie competed level eight in 2004. She won floor at the Winter Classic. She finished second all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational and fourth all-around at the Desert Devils Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam and the all-around. Jamie placed in the top ten at Regionals.

Jamie moved up to level nine in 2005. She finished fourth all-around at the Hard Rock Invitational. She placed second at both the Wine Country Classic and Winter Sun Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished second on every event and in the all-around. She competed at Regionals. In 2006, Jamie finished second at the Winter Sun Invitational and Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Winter Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. Jamie placed third all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished second on vault and 14th all-around.

She began competing level ten in 2007. She won the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. Jamie placed third all-around at the Buckeye Classic. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Jamie placed in the top twenty at Regionals, despite a rough floor routine. In 2008, Jamie finished second at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational and Golden State Classic. She finished fourth at the State Championships. At Regionals, Jamie finished in the top seven, qualifying for JO Nationals. She finished third on bars and 22nd all-around!

In 2009, Jamie began the season by winning the Winter Sun Invitational. She placed third at the San Diego Classic and second at the Hard Rock Invitational. Jamie won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished third on vault and bars at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals. She continued to have strong results in 2010. She finished second at the Winter Sun Invitational, San Diego Classic and Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Long Beach Open. She placed third at the State Championships. At Regionals, Jamie finished fourth. She finished third on beam and eleventh all-around at JO Nationals.
