Alicia Ross was born on March 20, 1998. Her older sister, Julia, is also a gymnast. Alicia trained at Vitaly Scherbo School of Gymnastics until 2003. She began competing for Gymcats in 2005. She moved to Brown's Las Vegas in the spring of 2007. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
In 2005, Alicia competed level four. She swept the gold medals at the Gold Medal Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. Julia moved up to level five in the fall. She finished second on bars and floor at the Fall State Meet. She placed fourth all-around. In the spring, she won beam at the Cactus Cooler Invitational. She finished second on floor at the State Championships. In the fall, Alicia competed level six. She continued competing level six in the spring. She finished third all-around at the Go For It Classic. At the State Championships, she placed third on bars and floor. She finished fourth all-around. She was a member of the National TOPs "B" Team in the fall.
Alicia competed level seven in 2008. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the San Diego Classic. At the Hard Rock Invitational, she won floor. She also won floor at the battle in Seattle. At the State Championships, she won beam, floor and the all-around. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall. In 2009, Alicia competed level eight. She won beam at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Long Beach Open, she won vault and floor. Alicia placed third all-around at the Byers Invitational. At Regionals, she placed third on floor and in the all-around. SHe won a silver medal on beam. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall.
In 2010, Alicia moved up to level nine. She finished fourth on beam at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the AOGC Invitational, she placed third on floor. Alicia placed second on beam at the Long Beach Open. At the State Championships, she finished third on beam and second on floor. She ended her season at Regionals with a third place finish on beam.
