Nicole Artz was born on October 19, 1995. She trained at North Shore Gymnastics in Wisconsin before moving to USA Champion in Michigan after the 2009 season. Nicole will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2006, Nicole competed level eight. She won bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. She placed second on vault. She moved up to level nine in 2007. She finished second on floor at the Hard Rock Invitational. She won bars and beam at the Harley Davidson meet. At the Regional Championships, she finished fourth all-around, third on beam and second on floor. She ended her season at Westerns. Nicole reached level ten in 2008. She finished first on beam and fourth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at JO Nationals.

She continued competing level ten in 2009. She won bars and floor at the Scamps Blizzard Invite. She won floor at the Harley Davidson meet. At the State Championships, she placed second on vault. Nicole finished third all-around at Regionals. She had a strong performance at JO Nationals. In 2010, Nicole finished third all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She won bars and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Tulip City Invitational, she won beam, floor and the all-around. She won bars and placed third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. Nicole won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Spartan Showcase. She finished third all-around at the Arnold Challenge. She had good finishes at both State and Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed 14th all-around.

Nicole had a strong 2011 season. Nicole placed third all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the Team OC Classic. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Cereal City Classic. At the St. Louis Classic, she won bars, beam and the all-around with a 37.775. Nicoe finished third on bars and beam at the Arena lClassic. She placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Nicole placed first on beam and third all-around. She finished 26th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2012, Nicole finished first on vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Wisconsin Dell's Vacation Classic. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won bars, beam and floor.
