Alyssa Tucker was born on January 8, 1995. She trained at Kenney's Gymnastics until 2005. She then moved to Impact Gymnastics. After the gym closed, she trained at Superior Gymnastics in 2010 before moving to Team Attraction Gymnastics for the 2011 season. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In the fall of 2004, Alyssa competed level five. She won bars at the Trick of Treat Invitational. She competed at the State Championships. Alyssa competed level seven in 2006. She finished second on vault at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Make An Impact meet. At the Atlanta Crown Invitational, she placed third on beam. Alyssa finished second on vault and floor at the Sweetheart meet. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2008, she won floor and finished second all-around at the State Championships. She finished sixth all-around at Regionals.
Alyssa competed level nine in 2009. She won beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Gatlinburg Classic and Winter Invite. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she won vault. Alyssa finished third all-around at the State Championships. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. In 2010, she won vault, floor and the all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Charleston Cup, she won beam, floor and the all-around. She placed second on vault and third on floor at the State Championships. She began competing level ten in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Judges Cup. At the Tiger Paw Invitational, she finished second all-around. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished sixth all-around. Alyssa competed at JO Nationals.
