Alexandra Zimmerman was born on June 14, 1994. She trained at Diamond Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to First State Gymnastics. She trained at Rebounders during the 2010 season before moving to Skyline Gymnastics Center. Alexandra will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2004, Alexandra competed level six. She finished fourth on vault at the Sweetheart Invite. She moved up to level seven in 2005. She won beam and the all-around at the Friendship Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the Cancun Classic. She competed level eight in 2006. She placed second all-around at the Go For It Classic. She competed level nine in 2007 and 2008. Alexandra did not compete in 2009. In 2010, she won vault, bars and the all-around at the Brestyan's Invitational. She won vault at the Classic Rock Invitational. At the State Championships, she won all five gold medals! Alexandra won vault and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed second on beam and sixth on vault. She finished seventh all-around.

Alexandra began competing level ten in 2011. She placed second on beam at the Pink Invitational. She finished first on vault at the State Championships. She placed third on beam at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
