Lauren Bancroft was born on April 13, 1999. She trains at Gedderts' Twistars. She will graduate from high school in 2017.

In 2008, Lauren competed level five. She won vault and the all-around at the State Championships. SHe competed level six in 2009. She won vault and floor at the Twistars Invitational. At the IGI Chicago Style, she placed third all-around. She won beam at the Tulip City Invitational. At the State Championships, Lauren won vault. She placed second all-around. Lauren competed one level seven meet in December of 2009. She won bars and the all-around at the St. Nick Invite.

Lauren competed level eight in 2010. She finished first on bars and beam at the Twistars Invitational. She won the all-around title at both the Battle of Champions and San Diego Classic. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. Lauren placed second on vault and bars at Regionals. She finished in the top ten all-around. She moved up to level nine for the 2011 season. She finished second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. Lauren finished first on bars and third all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed fourth on vault and bars. She finished third all-around.
