Eliza Barach was born on April 13, 1994. She trains at World Class Gymnastics in New York.

In 2004, Eliza competed level seven. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the I Love NY Cup. She moved up to level eight in 2005. At the I Love NY Cup, she finished second on vault and floor. She placed third all-around. Later that season Eliza qualified for Regionals. In 2006, she competed level nine. She finished second all-around at the Parkette Invitational. At the New York State Championships, she won vault. She finished third all-around and second on beam at Regionals. She qualified for the Level 9 Eastern Championships.

Eliza moved up to level ten in 2007. She finished second on vault at Regionals. She placed third on bars and floor. She ended her season at JO Nationals. In 2008, Eliza placed second on vault and fourth all-around at Regionals. She qualified to her second JO Nationals. During the summer, she won floor at the Empire State Games. She also finished second all-around. In 2009, Eliza won silver medals on vault and bars at Regionals. She qualified for the JO National Invitational Tournament where she finished seventh all-around. Eliza started her 2010 season at the Autumn with two silver medals on vault and floor exercise. At the Classic Rock, she placed 2nd on beam and 4th on floor. Eliza finished third in the all-around at both Level 10 States and Level 10 Regionals. At the JO Nationals, she finished 21st in the all-around, 16th on vault and 12th on balance beam.

Eliza began her 2011 season at the Autumn Classic and finished fourth on floor exercise. She won the all-around title at the Parkette Invitational and Niagara Cup. She qualified to the Niagara Cup Event Finals and won two gold medals on vault and uneven bars. At the Level 10 State Championships, she placed fourth in the all-around and fifth on vault and balance beam. Eliza placed third on vault and in the all-around at the Level 10 Regionals. There, she qualified to the JO Nationals in Long Beach, California and placed 11th on floor exercise.
