Stacy Bartlett was born on December 16, 1988. She trained at Metro Gymnastics in Oregon during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2007.
In 2001, Stacy competed level nine. She finished fourth all-around at Regionals. At the Western Championships in 2002, she placed fourth on beam and 16th all-around. Stacy again qualified to Westerns in 2003, finishing second on beam and 20th all-around. She began competing level ten in 2004. She finished ninth on beam at JO Nationals. In 2005, Stacy finished third all-around at Regionals. She placed second on beam and 15th all-around at JO Nationals.
Stacy finished first all-around at the 2006 All American Invitational. She placed second all-around at the California Classic. At the Regional Championships, she placed second on vault and fourth all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2007, Stacy finished first all-around at the Emerald Team Challenge. She won beam and the all-around at the Regional Championships. At JO Nationals, she placed third on beam and tenth all-around.
As a freshman at Arkansas in 2008, Stacy competed on balance beam throughout the season. She also competed once on floor. She earned a spot on the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll. In 2009, Stacy competed on beam in the first half of the season before suffering an injury. She was named to the NACGC/W Academic Team and SEC Academic Honor Roll. Stacy competed on balance beam in all 14 meets as a junior in 2010. She competed twelve times on floor. She again earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. During her senior season in 2011, she competed on beam and floor. She placed second on beam against West Virginia. She earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
