Breyanna Aufiero was born on March 12, 1993. Her sister, Erika, is also a gymnast. Breyanna trained at Flips USA Gymnastics through the 2002 season. She then trained at Starz Gymnastics. In the spring of 2005, she followed her coach, Mig O'Hara, back to Flips USA. Breyanna moved to Deltchev following the 2008 season. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2002, Breyanna competed level five. She finished third on beam at the Flips USA Invitational. She moved up to level six in 2003. She finished fourth on floor at the Pegasus Classic. Breyanna competed level seven in 2004. She finished in the top ten at the Flips USA Invitational. She placed fourth on floor at the State Championships. She also competed in trampoline and tumbling, competing at JO Nationals in level seven tumbling. In 2005, Breyanna continued competing level seven. She finished first on vault at the Flips USA Invitational. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. In trampoline and tumbling, she competed level eight trampoline and double mini. She won double mini at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed sixth on trampoline. Breyanna made the National JumpStart Team in both 2004 and 2005.

Breyanna competed level eight in 2006. She finished second on floor at the Flips USA Invitational. She won floor at the San Diego Classic. She finished third on vault at the Surf City Classic. Breyanna again won floor at the Hard Rock Invitational. She won vault at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she won vault and placed fifth all-around. Breyanna finished third on vault and 13th all-around at Regionals. Breyanna competed level nine in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. She won vault at the IGI Chicago Style. She did not compete the remainder of the season after an injury in her floor routine.

She continued competing level nine in 2009. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Byers Invitational. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault and floor. She finished fourth all-around. Breyanna placed second all-around at Westerns! She also placed fourth on vault, third on bars and fourth on beam and floor. Breyanna moved up to level ten in 2010. She won beam and floor at the Roseville Invitational. She finished third on floor at the San Diego Classic. She did not compete the rest of the season.
