Bethany DiCarlo was born on May 16, 1995. Her twin sister, Rachel, is also a gymnast. Bethany trained at Montgomery County Gymnastics until 2008. She then moved to Silvia's Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2007, Bethany competed level five. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at the Pennsylvania Eastern Sectional. She moved up to level six in 2008. She finished first on floor and second all-around at the Dave Moskovitz Invitational. In 2009, Bethany competed level seven. She finished first all-around at the Silvia Mitova Invitational. At the Capital Cup, Bethany won vault and floor. She finished first all-around at the Harford Trophy meet. She placed second on vault at the State Championships.
Bethany competed level eight during the 2009-2010 season. She finished third all-around at the Crown of the Carolinas meet. At the World Class Invitational, Bethany finished third on vault. She placed third all-around at the Silvia Mitova Invitational. At the John Pancott Invitational, Bethany finished second all-around. She won a bronze in the all-around at the Pink Invitational. At the State Championships, Bethany finished fourth on vault.
