Katie Becker was born on December 28, 1997. She trained at Gymnastics World until 2004. She then moved to Shooting Stars through the 2008 season. Katie then spent two seasons with Team Olympia. She began training at Everest Gymnastics in the fall of 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2004, Katie competed level four. She won vault and beam at the Survival Invitational. She finished second all-around. At the Turkey Tumble, she won a bronze medal on bars. She placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished third on vault, bars and beam. Katie moved up to level five in 2005. She finished first on vault and third all-around at the Harvest Hoe Down. Katie finished sixth all-around and fourth on bars at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2006. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Kozeev's Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She won vault and bars. Katie competed level seven in 2007. She placed ninth all-around at the State Championships. She finished second on vault.

Katie competed level eight in 2008. She won vault at the Buckeye Classic. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the National Gymnastics Challenge. At the State Championships, Katie finished third on bars and in the all-around. At Regionals, she placed fourth on vault and fifth all-around. She continued competing level eight in 2009. She won vault and floor at the Judges Cup. At the Atlanta Crown Invitational, she won the all-around title. Katie finished second all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won beam at the KPAC Cup. At the Tiger Paw Invitational, she won bars and the all-around. She finished third on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam, floor and the all-around.

She moved up to level nine in 2010. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Judges Cup. At the Flip Fest Invitational, she won bars, beam and the all-around. Katie won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Tiger Paw Invitational. She finished third on beam at the Charleston Cup. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals. Katie opened the 2010-2011 season at the Twin City Classic. She finished third all-around. At the Flip Fest Invitational, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the Tiger Paw Classic. Katie won vault and the all-around at the Excalibur Cup. She won all five gold medals at the National Gymnastics Challenge. Katie placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She won floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed first on vault and second on beam. She finished third all-around!

Katie began competing level ten in 2012. She won beam at the National Judges Cup. She placed third all-around at the Atlanta Crown Invitational.
