Juliana Belar was born on April 28, 1997. She trains at North Stars Gymnastics in Boonton, New Jersey. Juliana will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Juliana competed level eight. She finished first on bars at the Rettig's Sectional. She continued competing level eight in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished fourth on vault and floor at the Brestyan Invitational. Juliana placed fourth on floor at the Parkette Invitational. At the State Championships, she qualified for Regionals. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.

Juliana continued competing level nine in 2010. She won bars at the Parkette Invitational. She finished third all-around. At the State Championships, she finished second on bars and fourth all-around. Juliana finished second on bars and sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns. She moved up to level ten in 2011. She finished first on vault and floor at the Excalibur Cup. Juliana placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals.
