Charly Belliston was born on August 8, 1995. She trains at Hunt's Gymnastics in Utah. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2005, Charly competed level six. She finished first on vault and third all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She placed third on floor and second on bars at the State Championships. Charly began competing level eight in 2007. She finished in the top ten at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. At Regionals, she finished tenth all-around. Charly moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished third on beam at Regionals. She was the alternate for Westerns. In 2010, she placed second on bars at Regionals. She finished first on beam and tenth all-around at Westerns.

Charly began competing level ten in 2011. She won vault at the National Judges Cup. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals.
