Gabriella Belvis was born on January 27, 1997. She trained at Illinois Gymnastics Institute. She began training at Legacy Elite Gymnastics in the summer of 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Gabriella competed level six. She finished third on beam at the Flips USA Invitational. At the IGI Chicago Style, she finished in the top fifteen. Gabriella moved up to level seven in 2008. She won vault at the Bravo Classic. At the IGI Chicago Style, she placed fourth on vault and beam. Gabriella won beam at the Gasparilla Classic. She competed at Regionals.

Gabriella continued competing level eight in 2010. She won bars and beam at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished third on bars at the King Arthur Invitational. At the Arena Classic, she placed third on bars. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars. Gabriella moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished fourth on beam at the WOGA Classic.
