Sydney Bendick was born on January 23, 2007. She trains at Long Island Gym Nest in New York. She will graduate from high school in 2025.

Sydney began competing as a level two in 2014. She moved up to level three for the 2014-2015 season. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She moved up to level four in 2017. She mobilized out of level five in 2018 and competed level six. In 2019, she finished first all-around at the Long Island Classic. Sydney began competing level seven during the 2020 season. She placed second all-around at the Long Island Classic. She moved up to level eight in 2021. She placed second all-around at the Long Island Classic.

Sydney moved up to level nine for the 2021 season. She placed second all-around at the Kick Off Invite and third all-around at the New Year Celebration. She placed fourth all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2023, she finished second all-around at the Kick Off Classic and third all-around at the LI Classic. She placed in the top ten at Regionals. During the 2023-2024 season, she placed second all-around at the Kick Off meet and Chelsea Piers Winter Challenge. She placed third all-around at the Arizona Grand Invitational. She won the LI Classic. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
