Molly Benevides was born on June 27, 1997. She trains at Walworth County Gymnastics Center. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2008, Molly competed level seven. She moved up to level eight in 2009. She won vault at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She finished third all-around at both the Midwest Challenge and Scamps Blizzard Invitational. Molly placed in the top twenty all-around at the State Championships. At the Regional Championships, she finished fifth all-around and third on vault.

Molly competed level nine in 2010. She won vault and finished third all-around at the Harley Davidson meet. Molly placed first on vault at the OGC Optional Invitational. She finished second on vault and sixth all-around at the State Championships. At the Regional Championships, she won vault! She finished sixth all-around. Molly placed fifth on vault at Westerns. She finished 15th all-around.
