Hallie Benjamin was born on July 30, 1996. She trains at DeVeau's School of Gymnastics in Indiana. She will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2007, Hallie competed level seven. She won the all-around at the Midwest Open. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She won the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She finished second at the Bravo Classic. She won vault, beam and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She qualified for Regionals. Hallie moved up to level nine in 2009. She won vault, bars and the all-around at the Brestyan Invitational. She finished second all-around at the For Love or Money meet. Hallie won floor at Regionals. She placed second all-around. At Easterns, she finished first on floor and 11th all-around.

Hallie began competing level ten in 2010. She won floor at the Bravo Classic and For Love or Money meet. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Circle of the Stars Invitational. Hallie competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around and first on floor. Hallie placed ninth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she finished second on bars and the all-around.
