Alyssa Bertoni was born on September 14, 1995. She trains at Frederick Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2004, Alyssa competed level five. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2008. She placed fifth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2009, Alyssa moved up to level nine. She finished third all-around at the Maryland Classic. She placed sixth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.

Alyssa continued competing level nine in 2010. She won beam and the all-around at the Magical Classic. She finished second all-around at the Frederick Classic and third all-around at the Caribbean Invitational. Alyssa placed in the top ten all-around at the State Championships and top twenty all-around at Regionals.
