Marissa Beucler was born on May 10, 1995. Her younger sister, Alexis, is also a gymnast. Marissa trained at Findlay Elite through the 2008 season. She then moved to Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2007, Marissa competed level seven. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished third on floor at the Turners Sock Hop meet. In 2009, Marissa placed third on vault and floor at the CGA Coaches Spectacular. She finished first on vault and third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She finished fourth all-around at the Buckeye Classic. Marissa won vault and floor at the Charleston Cup. She competed at Regionals.
Marissa competed level nine in 2010. She finished first on vault and third all-around at the Universal Galaxy meet. She placed second all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. Marissa won vault, floor and the all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the Queen City Classic, she won vault. She placed first on vault and second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second all-around. Marissa placed third on vault, fifth on beam, second on floor and third all-around at Easterns. She began competing level ten in 2011. She finished second all-around at the Buckeye Classic and Derby Classic. At the State Championships, she won floor. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. At the JO National Invitational Tournament, she won floor and the all-around! She also placed fourth on vault and third on bars and beam.
