Paige Bixler was born on April 23, 1991. She trained at Kurt Thomas Gymnastics through the 2005 season. She then moved to Metroplex Gymnastics. Paige graduated from high school in 2009.

In 2003, Paige competed level eight. She placed third on bars and fourth all-around at Regionals. She moved up to level nine in 2004. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top twenty. Paige placed sixth on floor at Westerns. She moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished second on beam at the Cancun Classic. In 2007, Paige finished third on beam at the WOGA Classic. She placed fourth on beam and floor at the Metroplex Challenge. In 2008, Paige competed on beam and floor at Regionals. She finished second on beam at the 2009 WOGA Classic. She won beam at the Alamo Classic. At the Rose City Classic, she won beam and floor. Paige finished 12th all-around at Regionals.

As a freshman at Washington in 2010, Paige competed on beam throughout the season. She won beam against SPU with a 9.925. She finished eleventh on beam at Regionals.
