Meghan Elizabeth Blair was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 24, 1989. She is the daughter of James and Kathryn. She has three siblings, Ashley, Blake and Carolina. At the age of three she began gymnastics off and on. She began training regularly at the age of six at Huggett's Gymnastics in Dallas, Texas. In 1999, she switched to Mesquite Gymnastics. In September of 2000, she began training at WOGA. After the American Classic in 2004, she left WOGA and moved to Texas Dreams Gymnastics. In the winter of 2004 she switched to Dallas Gymnastics Center. Meghan moved to Metroplex in 2005. In 2006, she decided to return to Mesquite. Meghan quit gymnastics in 2006. She cheered for Cheer Athletics for a season.

In 1998, she competed as a level five. She moved up to level six in 1999. She finished second all-around at States. In May of 2000, she competed as a level seven at the San Juan Gymnastics Festival International Competition in Puerto Rico. She finished second all-around and first on beam. Meghan then moved up to level eight. She placed third all-around at States. At Regionals, she finished second all-around and first on bars. In January of 2001, Meghan competed as a level nine. She finished first all-around at States. At Regionals, Meghan finished seventh all-around. She ended her season at Westerns. She placed fifth all-around.

Meghan moved up to level ten in 2002. At the WOGA Classic, Meghan placed third all-around. She won the Cypress State Qualifier and Pikes Peak Cup. At the State Championships, she finished fifth all-around. She finished third all-around at Regionals. This qualified her for the JO national Championships. In June, she qualified to junior international elite despite two falls. Her first international elite competitions came in the fall. She competed at the Golden Lilia meet in Ukraine and the Voronin Cup in Russia. She won vault at the Voronin Cup event finals.

She easily re-qualified to elite in 2003. Meghan placed fourth all-around at the Parkette Invitational. She then competed at the National Elite Podium Meet. At the American Classic, Meghan placed tenth all-around! This qualified her for the US National Championships. Shortly before Nationals, she competed at the US Classic. Meghan ended her season at Nationals.

Her final year as a junior was in 2004. She started her season at the WOGA Classic. She then competed at the Parkette Invitational. Meghan placed seventh all-around at the National Elite Podium Meet. She then competed at the American Classic. Before the summer season, she finished fourth all-around at the Texas Dream Elite Qualifier. Meghan won the National Qualifier. At the US Classic, she finished fourteenth all-around. This qualified her for the US National Championships. Meghan made her first national team! In December, she finished second all-around at the Candy Cane Classic.

She moved up to the senior division in 2005. Meghan competed at the USA v. Japan meet. She finished second all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. Meghan did not do well at the US Classic because of injuries.

She decided to return to level ten in 2006. Meghan won the Yellow Rose Classic. She finished fourth all-around at States and sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO Nationals. She finished sixteenth all-around! Meghan decided to quit the sport in the summer. Following her retirement, she cheered for the World Champion team, Cheer Athletics. She now attends the University of Mississippi.
