Lauren Bledsoe was born on January 7, 1992. She trained at All Starz in Arizona through the 2005 season. She then moved to Universal for two years. Lauren began training at Olympia Gymnastics in Michigan before the 2008 season.

In 2003, Lauren competed level seven. She continued competing level seven in 2004. She finished fifth all-around at the San Diego Classic. She placed second on floor and fourth all-around at the State Championships. Lauren moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished first on floor at the Winter Classic. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. In 2007, Lauren competed level nine. She finished second on floor at the Top Flight Invitational. She finished sixth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.

Lauren continued competing level nine in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Motown Madness meet. She won bars and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won floor. Lauren won bars and floor at Easterns. She finished third all-around. Lauren moved up to level ten in 2009. She finished second on bars at the Wolverine Classic. She did not compete on beam and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2010, Lauren finished second all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational and Motown Madness meet. She won vault at the For Love or Money meet. Lauren finished second all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on vault, bars and floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed third on bars. She finished 12th all-around.
