Natalie Bohonsky was born on February 18, 1992. She trained at Kurt Thomas Gymnastics through the 2005 season. She then moved to WOGA. She graduated from high school a semester early in time to join Arkansas for the 2010 season.

In 2003, Natalie competed level nine. She won the all-around title at Regionals. She finished in the top twenty at Westerns. She competed in the pre-elite division at the 2004 US Challenge. She finished fourth all-around in the optional portion. Natalie competed level ten in 2005. She placed fifth on bars at the Cancun Classic. In 2006, she won bars at the State Championships. Natalie won bars and the all-around at Regionals. She only competed on bars at JO Nationals.

Natalie continued competing level ten in 2007. She placed second on beam at the AOGC Invitational. She won vault and finished third all-around at the State and Regional Championships. At JO Nationals, she finished eighth on vault, seventh on floor and eleventh all-around. Natalie placed third all-around at the 2008 State Championships. She finished second all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed seventh on bars. In 2009, she finished second on bars at the Byers Invitational.

As a freshman at Arkansas in 2010, she competed on bars in the last six meets of the season. She earned a 4.0 GPA, earning NACGC Academic All-American honors. In 2011, she competed on bars twice. She earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
