Anna Brandmeier was born on October 28, 1993. She trains at Ultimate Gymnastics in Illinois. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2007, Anna competed level eight. She finished first on bars and beam at the Midwest Open. She won bars and placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at Regionals. She placed first all-around at the 2008 Bravo Classic. She finished second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the Cupid's Twist Invitational, she won beam, floor and the all-around. Anna finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.

Anna began competing level nine in 2009. She finished second all-around at the St. Jude Benefit meet. She finished first all-around at the Midwest Open. She placed in the top fifteen at both the State and Regional Championships. In 2010, she finished first on beam at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed first on bars and the all-around at the Midwest Open. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. She finished tenth all-around at Regionals. In 2011, Anna won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Midwest Open. She won bars and floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed first on beam and second all-around. She placed third on bars, sixth on beam, fifth on floor and second all-around at Easterns.
