Emily Brauckmuller was born on July 12, 1995. She began gymnastics at the age of three and currently trains at Orlando Metro Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013. She has not finished below fourth in the all-around since 2006.

In 2008, Emily competed level seven. She finished second on floor at the IGI Chicago Style meet. She won bars and floor at the Hard Rock Invitational. Emily finished second all-around at the City of Lights Invitational. She moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished first on floor at the Atlanta Crown Invitational. She won a string of first place all-around finishes including the Sand Dollar Invitational, Metroplex Challenge, Palm Beach Invitational, City of Lights Invitational and Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. Emily won vault and beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won all five events, scoring a 38.450.

Emily moved up to level nine in 2010. She won bars at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. Emily won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed second all-around at both the Daytona Beach Open and IGI Chicago Style. Emily won the all-around title at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the State Championships, she placed first on floor and in the all-around. Emily placed third all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she finished first on beam and floor! She placed fourth all-around. She began competing level ten in 2011. She placed second on floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed third on beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she finished third on floor. She competed on bars only at the State Championships.
