Breanna Ray was born on March 27, 1999. She trained at Galaxy Gymnastics until 2009. She then moved to Monmouth.

In 2006, Breanna competed level four. She placed in the top fifteen at the Greater NY Invite. She moved up to level five in 2007. She finished fourth all-around at the Greater NY Invite. She moved up to level seven in the fall of 2008. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Pumpkin Cup. She placed in the top ten at the Greater NY Invite. In 2009, Breanna made the National TOPs Team.

She competed level eight in 2010. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. Breanna also tested hopes elite in 2010.
