Jenna Bresette was born on August 6, 1996. Her sister, Amelia, competed level nine in 2010. Jenna trained at Mercury Gymnastics until the 2007 season. She then spent two years with Rebound. She moved to GAGE before the 2009 season.

In 2006, Jenna competed level six. She won the Show Me Invite. She moved up to level seven in 2007. She placed second all-around at the GymQuarters Invitational. She won vault and bars. In 2008, Jenna competed level eight. She finished sixth all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At Regionals, she also placed sixth all-around. She finished second on bars. Jenna moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished second on bars at the Palm Beach Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. She won bars and placed second all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished third on bars. She placed ninth all-around.

Jenna competed level ten in 2010. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the KC Co-Ed Invite. She finished third all-around at the Dragon Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. Jenna finished second on vault and bars at Regionals. She placed seventh all-around. At JO Nationals, she finished second all-around, making the JO National Team. She finished fifth on vault and sixth on floor. In June, she qualified to junior international elite. She competed at the Covergirl Classic.
