Erica Brewer was born on October 15, 1992. She trained at Champion Gymnastics in Kentucky during her club career. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2004, Erica competed level nine. She qualified to Regionals. She finished 12th all-around at Regionals in 2005. She competed at Easterns. Erica moved up to level ten in 2006. She finished third all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished second on beam. In 2007, Erica won floor and finished second all-around at the National Judges Cup. She finished third on floor at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished sixth on floor. She finished 23rd all-around. She competed on bars and beam at the 2008 IGI Chicago Style.

Erica continued competing level ten in 2009. She won beam and the all-around at the Surf City Classic. She finished second all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She placed third on floor and fourth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished first on beam, eighth on bars and third all-around! She made the JO National Team. In 2010, Erica won beam at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. She won bars at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational.
