Brittney Harris was born on April 18, 1991. She trained at Parkettes during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2003, Brittney competed level nine. She continued competing level nine in 2004. She finished in the top ten at the Parkette Invitational. She won a silver medal on bars at the Desert Devils Classic. At Easterns, she finished third on vault and floor. In 2005, she moved up to level ten. She won vault at the California Classic. Brittney had a solid 2006 season. She finished eight on floor and 19th all-around at JO Nationals.

Brittney did not compete in 2007. She returned in 2008. She finished second on bars at the Maryland Classic. She placed third on bars and fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fifth. She placed 26th at JO Nationals. In 2009, Brittney won floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on beam and second all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished tenth on vault. Brittney missed the 2010 season due to an achilles injury.
