Cindy Briggs was born on September 23, 1993. She trained at ABC Gym Stars through the 2007 season. She then moved to Thames Valley Academy of Gymnastics for two years before moving to New England Gymnastics Express. Cindy graduated from high school in 2011.

In 2007, Cindy competed level six. She moved up to level seven in 2008. Cindy competed level eight in 2009. She began competing level nine in 2010. She finished in the top ten at the Sand Dollar Invitational. Cindy placed second on floor and fourth on vault at the State Championships. She finished in the top ten all-around at Regionals. In 2011, Cindy placed third on floor at the Parkette Invitational. She placed third on beam and floor at the Daytona Beach Open. At the State Championships, Cindy finished seventh all-around. She finished seventh all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns.
