Rebecca was chosen along with 3 other national team members to be part of the US Junior team. Rebecca placed 4th in the all around and 5th on beam. Unfortunately due to the 2 per country rule, Rebecca placing did not stand in the all around. In the event finals Rebecca placed 5th on the beam. At the VISA Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota, Rebecca placed very impressive 4th all-around, 2nd on balance beam, and 8th on vault in a very tough group of competitors. Her 2007 season started off similar to 2006. She finished third on bars at the WOGA Classic. Her next meet was the American Classic at the National Team Training Center. Rebecca finished second all-around! After another training camp and competition, she was selected for the Pan American Games Team. The meet was held in Brazil. Rebecca qualified for the bars, beam, floor and all-around finals. Due to two-per-country rules, she could only compete in floor and all-around. She helped the USA Team to a gold medal finish. In the all-around, Rebecca finished second to Shawn Johnson. She came back in event finals to win the floor title! After a month of no competitions, Rebecca competed at the US National Championships in San Jose, California. Despite a fall on bars in day one and beam in day two, Rebecca still cruised to an all-around win. She also won vault, bars and floor. Her only second place finish came on beam. She concluded her season with the Japan Junior International. Rebecca finished first all-around. She went on to sweep the gold medals in the event finals.

2008 turned out to be an eventful year for Rebecca. She started off at the WOGA Classic, where she won the all-around and three events easily. She then went on to yet another international assignment to Italy where she placed second in the all-around junior division. Later, she had the opportunity to compete in the 2008 Pacific Rim Championships along side teammate, Nastia Liukin. Rebecca did an astounding job, winning gold medals in the all-around, beam, bars and floor event finals as well as helping USA pick up a team gold. Rebecca was about to defend her National Title when she broke her foot and was unable to compete at the 2008 US Junior National Championships. Rebecca was named to the 2008 Pan-Am Individual Event Championship team but pulled out at the last moment with a knee injury.

Rebecca was prepared to compete in the all-around at the 2009 US Classic. During training, she suffered an injury to her ankle that limited her to uneven bars. Rebecca returned to the all-around at the US National Championships in Dallas. She led the field after day one. She had a rough bar routine on day two that dropped her to third place. Rebecca also picked up a silver medal on floor. Later that fall, Rebecca was selected for the World Championships. Despite a fall on beam in preliminaries, Rebecca was in first place. During all-around finals, she led after three rotations. A fall on her final pass on floor gave her second place to USA teammate Bridget Sloan. She qualified for both the uneven bars and floor finals. She won a bronze medal on bars. She started her 2010 season by winning the American Cup.
