Stephanie Brown was born on May 9, 1994. She trained at Exxcel until 2004. She began competing for Brestyans in 2005. Stephanie was a National TOP "B" Team Camp Qualifier in 2003 and 2004. She qualified to TOPS Pre-Elite in 2005. She competed at the US Chalelnge.
In 2003, Stephanie competed level six. She placed fifth all-around at States. On the individual events, she won bronzes on bars and beam. Stephanie moved up to level seven in 2004. She placed first all-around at States! Besides winning the all-around gold, she also won golds on bars, beam and floor! After her gymnastics center change in 2005, she began comepting as a level eight. She won the Brestyan's Invitational, Parkette Invite and Vegas Vacation. At the Level 8 State Championships, she won the all-around and floor title! Her final meet of the season was Regionals. Stephanie finished first all-around, first on beam and first on floor!
She moved up to level nine for the 2006 season. She won ttwo fall meets, the Holiday Invite and Pilgrim Harvest Invitational. once the new year hit, she won the Parkette Invite and Brestyan;s Invitational. Stephanie placed second all-around at the Little Bigger Invite. At the State Championships, she finished second all-around. She won vault and floor! Stephanie went on to win Regionals and the vault title. She ended her level nine season at Easterns. Stephanie finished second all-around! After the Level 9 Easterns, she qualified to junior international elite at a zone meet. Stephanie competed at the US Classic!
In 2007, she competed as a level ten and junior pre-elite. At the State Championships, she finished first all-around. Stephanie won vault and bars. She also finished second on beam and floor. At Regionals, Stephanie finished second all-around and second on beam. She won vault. This qualified her for her first JO National Championships. She finished in the top twenty five! She competed as a junior pre-elite in 2007. She easily won the US Challenge.
In 2008, she competed on three events at the Parkette Elite Qualifier. At the Level 10 State Championships, she finished second all-around. She finished third all-around at Regionals. She also placed third on bars and beam. At JO Nationals, she finished in the top ten all-around! She tied for third on beam and fourth on floor.
